Jodi McCullah is a United Methodist chaplain at Austin Peay State University in close proximity to the army base at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. She has viewed firsthand how soldiers and veterans struggling from PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injuries, and other problems have located lifestyle-altering relief with company dogs. McCullah encourages congregations to get included with teams like Educate a Puppy-Help save a Warrior and Roll Around to assist address the charge of providing these canine companions for lively and retired military.

Veteran James Stinson suggests the dogs save lives, and health-related expenses. “When you might be in the military, you go into standard education, you might be given a battle buddy. When you go to your device, you might be given a battle buddy. When you go into fight, you might be given a battle buddy. I’m out. I don’t have a battle buddy. Considering that I’ve experienced Opie some of the drugs I’m off of. And some of them have dramatically… I’ve lowered the medication that I’m working with. TADSAW is a wonderful group that supplies a just one-time charge for a dog, instead of a life time of medication.”
