  2. I was at a rest stop and I went to use the restroom and I had my dog (blue) with me and some one had there dog in there at the entrance barking a lounging at blue, thank God there was another entrance to the bathroom, but I really wanted to say something but I didn't want to put my dog or myself in danger, cause there was signs saying no dogs allowed. He handled it well and keeped walking, but it gets me so mad about people bringing there untrained pets in places 😡.. love your video though, keep up the great work. ☺️❤️

  3. I'm so sorry this happened to you and Dakota. I know what it's like to have ptsd also and I was shaking just watching it even though I thought I could handle it. I do have a question though, since I've seen it this video and past videos. When Dakota does dpt for when you're having an attack, is she doing it to calm your breathing so your attacks are shorter? I don't know if this is a question I am allowed to ask or not so you don't have to answer if I'm not allowed to ask that kind of question to a service dog handler

  7. All service dogs become somewhat anxious/concerned when they are away from their owner. The dog has the job of taking care of someone and takes it very seriously so staring after the owner and getting restless is a totally normal reaction. They are trained to be focused on their owner at all times and the dog will feel like something is wrong when they are separated and not tasking.

  13. I cried wat bing this video I’m so sorry this happened. I’m not defending the other person but the dog probably had just started training, it may have been it’s first time in public. Also the way he reacted was extremely uncalled for. The situation would’ve been a lot better if he just apologized and listened to what you had to say. I’m so sorry Lexie it always hurts me when things like this happen to you. I hope you’re recovering well !

  20. i personally understand where you're coming from – when crying over a situation like that. yes, it's over, but the relief from Dakota being okay, just triggers those tears really hard. i completely understand that. you had a right to be upset, be angry, outraged, you had such a right, and i personally am proud of you for standing up for yourself! keep it up! 😊😊
