  5. I'm curious, would using your tongue clicking or snapping yield the same result as the clicker? Would it hinder the training at all? I love your videos and wish to fully understand more

  6. You’re not even a qualified dog trainer, you’re currently attacking a group saying that kibble causes cancer but your giving dogs hot dogs as treats, hypocrite!

  7. Hey man! I really love this video. The content is great but if you want some feedback the rap song continuously interrupting the for your new topics destroys the integrity of the video. A simple slide would be more effective. Other than that though I really appreciated the information. Keep making videos!

  10. yes!! I had been training my newly adopted dog with positive reinforcement techniques, but it wasn't quite clicking (hehe). Then, I watched this video and the one about keeping quiet during training sessions and rushed out with my pup to get an actual clicker. Best $4 I ever spent on her. We're having so much fun now. Thank you for your entertaining and educational videos.

  11. My dog is terrified of any sound, she runs from the clicker. Any suggestions or tips for this? I'm muffling the sound in a t-shirt for now, she still won't come near me when I have it, but will acknowledge me if I speak to her(while I have it muffled). Some info into who she is…She is a rescue, she has a known history of abuse by the past owner's husband. She was my friends dog, my friend and her family got out of the bad situation but keeping the dog during their transition was an unexpected difficulty(especially with housing) so I now have her. She is an amazing dog and is now comfortable with my family and I she stays at my feet most of the time or on my side. She loves any size tennis ball and is very protective over my children. She even gets between my oldest and I when I raise my voice. She even grabbed my wrist while I pinned down my 4 year old tickling him. She gets nervous when I play with my boys, she's afraid they will get hurt.

  12. Ok am looking for potty ideas. First I'll tell you what it's not. It's not the yard she uses it but on her terms. It's not the harness. She don't like it but it in itself don't stop her. The leash that stops her but she don't need it just to potty. It is the weather. If it's wet and cold outside. She won't go. She will what up to 8 hours to go home and use her pad inside. Know I could just leave her home on cold days but the idea is to get rid of the pads and have her go outside all the time like a normal dog. With out this holding it for hours for no good reason.

  14. Question……how do you train your dog to not be afraid of the clicker lol.
Been training my dog and used a pen for the first few days (cuz I'm poor lol) and all was well. She learned a few things and learned them fast.
I finally bought a clicker and same thing. First few days went really well and she learned some stuff and learned it real fast.
The past three times I go to train with her as soon as I click that clicker (no it's not close to her ear and it's not real loud. I'm 6'2 and she's a chihuahua so it's far away from her) she gets afraid and training is done instantly cuz she runs and hides and barks and barks.
I don't understand why the first few days it went so well now all of a sudden she is deathly afraid of it

  16. I just started using clicker training with my Anatolian Shepherd yesterday, he's sitting on the couch with me and as Gage made the click sound, Stetson immediately looked to me for a reinforcer. Good example of how smart our buds are.

  17. Going forward, could you cite the sources you use in videos or the description? You said, "Research tells us…" but i dont know what research you are referring to. Not trying to be a jerk, just want to prove a point to people sometimes. Thank you.
