Introducing our new puppy Lila to clicker schooling. Clicker schooling isn’t’ something I have accomplished just before so I assumed I’d give it a shot with Lila and see how it works out. Strategies much more than welcome.

  1. So cute! I also cut up the treats into crumbs. I have tried clickers so many times but just a marker word works best for me. No love like Boston love!

  6. Lila reminds me of my Boston that passed away last November. She was fifteen years old and such a sweetheart. I still have a male Boston and he is super crazy and needs anger management but I wouldn’t trade him for the world. I look forward to the Dawghouse. Never a dull moment and very informative.

  9. Another good one! I need to pick up a clicker and get started with my beast, I think this will help me keep his focus without needing to use corrections on the leash.

  14. Working on teaching our new Corgi puppy some basic commands, so all this stuff definitely comes in handy. We've got sit and spin down so far. Working on stay and lie down. The 'stay' one is difficult when they're puppies and have an attention span of, on a good day, about three tenths of a second. lol.
