  1. I got my dog to stop chewing relatively easy. when he was chewing on the table leg a yelled I at him, got his attention. gave him the stank eye for a min and with my manliness voice I said "I AM THE CAPTAIN NOW" and since then I been alpha male. 😊

  2. I have a 6 month old pit bull and I thought he was almost trough with he's training I was surprised he didn't go trough a distrustive face or teething face without going trough a lot. but for the past week he has managed to rip me my college book apart, all my make up, my sons birthday hat, and even did a big whole on my carpet. off course I was really heartbroken and dissapointed on him I usally make him smell it and give him a spank but it doesn't seem to work 😕 as soon as I turn my back he's at it again. and yes I always make sure the house is baby proof before I leave

  3. How do you stop a 9 month old dog from chewing drip systems outdoors and to stop digging? He goes for walks 2 times a day and has tons of chewing items. He is a great pyrenees.

  4. I like your training videos and advice, but what do you do when a dog ignores any type of treats when training on certain things like going into a pen or when they are jumping up on stuff you don't want them on.

  12. Pimms, now about 16 Weeks, wanted to chew oneverything, telephone cables, electrical cords, wood stands, wood/wicker table legs, me, Mama (my mum), Puppy crate, all of her toys, sheets, pillows, blankets, Heather (My 14 year old West Highland Terrier).

I try to not leave her alone, and when left her with Papa (my dad) she chewed through his business telephone cable as he wasnt watching.
When she got left alone for a couple of hours when we were all busy and couldnt have her with us, chewed through the wood and wicker table leg.

When around me i watch her as much as possible, and use a combination of the "aagh" "no…." when she opens mouth to chew on a wood stand or cable, but also try to keep ahead of her and wear her out with a long walk, or, ball play when its hot or rainy outside, currently its 30-47*C in Sydney (86-116.6*F).

I'm a bit stuck at the moment, I have got sit, down, and her name, but im not quite getting the come, let go, stop biting…. (although to stop biting or barking when i get the treat bag she is focused on that).

Im also not knowing what to do with Pimms about digging and dirt/compost eating. She and my mum and sisters dogs are all various types of Labradoodles, (same breeder different size, colour, shapes) and they seem to love digging into the potting mix or compost and then end up with black bear or muzzle and black paws…..

even when i tire them out still dig, is is a mineral/nutrients deficiency or are they just being terrors?

She is almost there in terms of "in the car" just takes a lot of coaxing, not because she doesnt love the car, she loves, its just doesnt get it.

    Need help with;
Keep on my left at all times
    come
    dont dig
    dont bite
    dont bark
    drop it or let go
Stay focused on me when walking

  26. My dog chews things up while my husband and I are away. The longest we've ever left her alone is about 3 hours. But even if one of us is gone and the other in the shower, in that short amount of time, she will chew things up. She is just over one years old. We adopted her from a shelter, could it be separation anxiety?
