  12. Mental Stimulation is very important to keep a happy, content relaxed dog. You should start to give him a 'job' every day. So say on a Monday you play with a tennis ball for 10-15 mins ( which is better for your dog than a 2-3 hour walk ). Then say on a Tuesday bring him on a run or a swim if possible, starting off with 10-15 mins and building it up. Kong toys are also great to make him 'work' for his food. Hope this help, my facebook page is 'Ians Dog Training' if you need any more help.cheer's

  17. use a leash and tug the leash up until he sits up and once he does sit, say the command to remind him that's what you meant, not laying down. If the leash doesn't work, physically, gently make him sit and say the command. Hope this helps! Keep trying, and don't give up!
