  1. "A I S L E" perhaps. Isle is similar to meaning "island". No biggie, good video though.

  2. My SDiT was really little the first time we went. He laid on the ground and slept until I scooped him up and decided I needed a little anxiety relief…

  4. In terms of mutt muffs etc. the volume of sounds in a cinema are near enough damaging to human ears, so tbh I would recommend using them for dogs, no matter if you dog will sleep through it or not- it's better safe than sorry?

  6. Nothing pathetic about your video. I appreciate your calm voice. One person has this strident voice I can't watch her videos.

  10. Im planning to take my service dog to the movie theaters but first I have to try and pursuade my mom to let me go. She wouldnt even let Roxy into a mall in a different city becuz she was scared we would be denied access.

  15. No shade, you seem awesome, but you could have a business card with a link to a YouTube video with your life story and hand it to people and say, "here u go, I gotta go." I think Shaq used to do this.

  16. I have not yet been to a movie with my sdit but am hoping to very soon. I think it may be beneficial to choose seats in the row where wheelchair seating is available or closer to the exit but still out of the way. obviously don't take the wheelchair seating if you dont need it but often there are seats along the same row

  25. I go to a theater with reserved seating. I choose an end seat on the back row, so my SD can lay next to my seat and nobody needs to get past her. My biggest problem with her is that she snores sometimes, so during the quiet scenes, I have to wake her up so she will stop snoring.

  26. Thank you so much. I am very glad that I found your channel. I just got a service dog and the info that I'm soaking up from your videos has been indispensable! I'm hoping to find that you've done a video about how to deal with ignorant apartment management.

  28. One pro of having a service dog: if they have a vest with pockets, you can smuggle your snacks without breaking a sweat πŸ˜‚

  29. I'm new to this whole consept of ESA's. You have an ESA right? So if you have an emotional support dog and not like a service dog for hearing or something like that could they still go with you? I was just wondering the different limits that they have compared to service dogs for other disabilities.

    1. It is the ushers' (sometimes the managers') job to clean the theater.
    2. We will generally ask the required questions and another one: How can we help for you have the best experience possible?
    3. If we need to, the crew will (or at least me) help you get yourself and your dog outside by making sure no one comes near and interfeers with you or your dog.

  33. I have terrible anxiety, and shake no matter where I go. But, if someone hurts me I will have a panic attack, however someone hurts my dog well, they might as well book their hospital bed there and then (last time I ever go out late and with no human to help out)

  34. absolutely love this video, I struggle with taking Walter to the movies, people step on him, he gets up in the middle of a movie and eats peoples nachos (doesn't help that he's a black dog in a dark theater) and after an hour he growls at me because he doesn't want to be in there anymore, i'm definitely going to try your suggestions next time
