  1. If you don’t have a pressure cooker for the eggs then boil the eggs for 10-12 minutes then immediately remove from pot and put in a bowl of ice water for 10 minutes and they peel easily

  7. Keeping grass away from the base of your trees is a never-ending battle.  Also, so sad we didn't get to see Grace's video on cooking fried green tomatoes.  🙁

  9. The tadpoles are just as likely to be toads as frogs. Either way, it's pretty neat to watch them grow.

  10. Hi Art and Bri, i love my vita mix blender it not only makes great smoothies but the dry hopper makesany kind of flour. Fro corn, to almond, to coconut, rice, and wheat, to oatmeal. It saves so much money ratherthan having to buy it at the health food store. It even make fresh vegetables as hot soup, and it can make homemade soft ice cream. But with all your fresh organic produce you really could get to most nutritious smoothies, homemade V-8 Juice or tomatoe juice the recipes are endless. I also have the veggie bullet for making zucchini spaghetti and Angel Hair zucchini or summer squash, and it Rices Cauliflower to make Cauliflower pizza crust. You can YouTube videos on demonstrating both machines. I highly recommend them and your kids would love the new way of enjoying zucchini and summer squash. It even makes sweet potato curly fries! The slicer not only slices perfect cucumber chips for bread and butter pickles but perfect sliced potatoes for the best and fastest potatoes Ogratten you've ever made from start to finish and in the oven 15 minutes. Art and Bri you've given us so much help and shared your lives with us that i wanted to highly recommend these two kitchen products oh and best of all they clean up so fast you'll be amazed and use both machines on a daily basis!! Thank you Art and Bri for all the long hour it take you to give us these vlogs! May God Bless your Family.

  13. I saw on a cooking show that steaming eggs help them peel easier. It works well. I have also been steaming my quail eggs since I started getting them. They peel fairly easy also. They only need to steam for a few min. To be cooked through. I turn off the heat and let sit for a few min.

  14. He gotcha on your haircut dude. Your not putting anything over on him. It's so lovely to see him eating that garden fresh produce. So good to see parents raising their kids right. If you ever have to cook eggs in regular stove pans add a little baking soda to the water to have shells release easier. Love the kitten. Did Bri's favorite kitty ever come back? I certainly hope she got him back, animals mean so much. Have a great journey!

  15. I tried the IP with my quail eggs and it was still a pain. I'm getting more eggs than I actually want to eat so I want to try pickling some. I'll give the IP another try I s'pose. OH my gosh I wonder if I can do life constantly! Metalwork helps remind me I'm still me.

Don't know if you use bleach in the household, but just a cap full stirred into the pond should clear up the algae. If you're more interested in having the tadpoles though, keep in mind that they feed on algae.

  22. That heavy kitten sure is cute & so tolerant, but then I guess with small children around, they have to be [or be very fast at running away]. Poor Brighton. Where's my carrots? So good to see young children that excited about gardening and helping with what has to be done. God bless you all.
Edit: HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!! Hope yours was safe & fun.

  28. Boiling eggs: Put in cold water. Let come to a boil. Turn off the stove, walk away until cooled down. Peel and Yoke will be Yellow if FRESH; But if not it will look grey and yellow. I have no problem peeling. Best over cold water.

  34. I got so sick of trying to peel my hard boiled fresh eggs I ended up buying 6 of those floating silicone egg cookers. Now I just crack the eggs into them. No more frustration peeling eggs that are too fresh

  35. Hi Art and Kiddos! We have found that cutting down the seam and then laying down three organic paper ply feed bags around your trees and then covering with your choice of mulch does the trick nicely. Save and then use your organic paper feed bags – they come in so very handy!! And yes, nice hair cuts, our boys have the same! Bet in this heat it feels wonderful!! Thanks for sharing!!

  36. I tried reading all the comments but didn't make it to the bottom. So maybe someone else mentioned it but adding ice and water after releasing the pressure makes peeling the eggs even easier.
