Pamela Johnson spends a ton of her time producing no cost how-to youtube movies on a assortment of topics. Some of these consist of agility, canine freestyle, methods, actions modification, puppy coaching, and cat methods.

“It is my desire to have my possess facility. A position to provide huge team seminars or host a canine camp. With numerous canine sports activities fields, a doggie swimming center, herding rings, and a frestyle arena I envision a position wherever persons convey their dogs to study and have enjoyment! ”

If you would like to donate to the Pam’s Dog Academy to help my desire come real, I would value it. You are welcome to donate as significantly or as small as you would like. THANK YOU!

I am a huge admirer of the “Massive BANG Concept” Television show and on Thursday Sheldon & Amy did a skit on “Enjoyment with FLAGS”. I believed it would be enjoyment to do a similar episode and simply call it Enjoyment with Goal Sticks.

I added some examples and ideas of normal concentrating on as very well. I ought to have made this a sequence and known as it enjoyment with concentrating on, but I didn’t. šŸ™

Goal sticks can be used in so several approaches. I am certain that I did not even go over half of what some others use them for. I like to imagine of them as an extension of my possess arm. šŸ™‚ I did not point out that in the video.

Also, for all those of you that are enthusiasts of the Massive Bang Concept, you may well have noticed that I experimented with genuinely hard to converse rapidly like Sheldon does. Having said that, I am not certain if I pulled it off. LOL!

In any case, I hope you did appreciate this enjoyment, foolish, major, tutorial on utilizing focus on sticks.

I also did not record the a variety of issues that I use and believed I would point out it right here in the video description.

  2. I love this video. I want to start training my mini poodle to target a target stick like this. He can already nose and paw target, so it shouldn't be too hard.

  4. I just acquired a second dog. I already use clicker training on both. However, when I click while working with the puppy, I feel that either I need to deliver a treat my adult dog also, or put her away in another room. You have a dog sitting on the couch while you click for the other. I am worried that when I work with one dog and the clicker, that the other will be desensitized to the sound unless I deliver a treat to both dogs or put her in another room. How do you manage two dogs at the same time with the clicker? Also, how do you fade out the stick with a hand signal and cue?
