  16. Most of the time, even a bad dog can see good intentions. Of course they do get aggressive, but I've never been bitten by a dog that was attacking me. Maybe just luck?

  19. When I meet a dog for the first time I don't look at it in the eyes, I kinda just relax and open my mouth like a dog which is wierd weird but for some reason dogs like that and then They sniff me and try playing with me, I keep cautious though, let them sniff me and I just sit there, eventually after a couple visits we become friends. I don't do this with pit bulls, I have a fear of pit bulls and I don't trust them.

  20. i'll admit, i'll probably always have some sort of fear of dogs in the core of my being. simply put, dogs are animals and are not always completely predictable. but then again neither is any creature, including humans. and honestly my trust in humans fades more with each passing day. too many much betrayal, too much heartbreak, too much disappointment. when i think about that, i realize dogs are ten times better than humans in so many ways <3

  24. I was never scared until my husband was attacked by a stuffy we had adopted for only 3 days. We returned him to the shelter but just last week I saw a spaniel attack a husky in the local dog park but obviously the husky managed to be winning that fight and lots of people got involved to break up the fight and both dogs were ok but it's terrifying now I don't trust any dogs except my own puggle who we adopted after the staffy. I don't want my dog to sense my anxiety but I'm scared to walk her alone now. Any advice?

  30. The best way to overcome fear of dogs is to watch "Hope for paws"! I watched hope for paws for 1 month and I wasn't scared of dogs anymore. Now I don't fear wolves and foxes.
