  16. Cats are incredibly intelligent creatures.
My 7 year old Bengal has been taught that if he nudges my hand with his nose, i'll then stroke wherever he puts his paw.

Shows me his true personality when he nudges my hand, then runs up to my puppy and paws her head… as if he's asking me to show his "sister" some attention. Have never seen such selflessness in a cat; to me, its undeniable proof of how intelligent they truly are…. being able to show empathy toward another animal. Incredible!

  17. Thank you for this fun, fun video of different cats and their trainers/loved people. My cat, Boston Blackie ("Blackie") can do most of these tricks (not all). He can't jump as high these these cats, because he has had slightly weak or injured front leg, which only bothers him if he jumps higher than is good for him. He can jump through a hoop, ""jump through!" and "Sit" among other things — I want to know how to teach him to sit on his haunches (with his front paws limp, in front of him). I've seen a lot of cats on YouTube doing this, but the are like 15 second long, with no suggestions on how to teach that. Does anyone here know how to teach that trick/pose?
