Hinton reported he experienced a damaged eye socket, damaged nose, multiple cuts on his head, “likely twenty chunk marks” and memory loss soon after various officers pushed him up against a patrol car and beat him up while a Wake County Sheriff’s Business K-9 bit him on his right arm, aspect and head.

All 3 officers are on administrative responsibility.

A judge final 7 days ordered the launch of all related movies from the Freeway Patrol, the Wake County Sheriff’s Business and the Raleigh Police Department to the general public.

  5. Suspect wasn't obeying commands, and the police showed up to a call about a man with a gun.. Officers did the right thing.

  6. The comments justifying the police actions are absurd. If he's such a violent criminal and his injuries are from a previous incident why were all charges dropped and why were the police especially the hot head with the dog who escalated the situation for no reason when he arrived attempting to justify their action immediately afterwards? How exactly did the DA force a fake story with clear video evidence including the words of the officers involved to a grand jury in the state of North Carolina and get a recommendation for charges if there's not clear reason to believe that a man who committed no crime didn't deserve to be attacked by a dog a beaten to the point of permanent injury?

  8. What else were they supposed to do? Give him a timeout? Just look at the resources this jerkoff was requiring standing in the middle of the road! If he would’ve JUST COMPLIED instead of trying to make a scene and make the officers go “hands on” and in this case canines on! He was warned THREE times BEFORE the dog was released and was still standing there like a duffus.
Then they CRY woe as me because they got an owy from not listening

  11. Exactly what crime did this man commit????? He was just standing there, surrounded by half a dozen large men, were they unable to simply arrest him if he had broken a law?

  17. There is no reason for an officer to ever fight with a perp, unless completely ambushed. Instead, officers must all have proper tools to gain compliance without exertion. If the tazer and K9 and OC spray fail to bring the perp into compliance, then greater methods must be used. And never should a perp be punished, tortured, etc. That is for the courts to decide.
All of that said, I could never be a police officer as they have to put up with criminals and their supporters far too often. I would turn the streets red for a short while as many perps are oxygen thieves and need to be dispensed with.

  21. K9s need to be outlawed for this purpose. No reason to subject human beings to this sort of torture just because officers are too cowardly to go hands on themselves. What did police do before they had K9 units?
