  1. My dog could go off leash cuz he knew hand commands you would tell him what to do with your hands and he would do that

  3. Sylibol is what you were looking for btw ๐Ÿ™‚ a vowel is a configuration of words without a break, ex; Crip-Po, spelt Crypo. Crypt-Toe; spelt Crypto, is taught/referred to within the English language as, 2 syliboles. Anyways, great video! Even better puppy! My Husky is very curious, energetic, and "prey Driven". I'm currently trying to find a video that will educate me on how to train him within different environments . I would like him to be able to distinguish the difference between, suburban environment vs. An open field. We (labowski and i) lack the ability of diverse, direct communication, as far as encouraging him to express his instinctual, energetic reaction to an open field and maintaining an ofleash, disciplined, confident mentality within a busy, suburban area. When we train…. we achieve towards that days specific environment. Any recommendations on what I need to improve on?

  4. Gonna get kinda sentimental here. My Lab-Pitt mix named Lexi was oddly amazing. I never officially off leash trained her but one day another dog mangled her leash and I didn't have a spare. I was forced to trust her and let her go. And it was pure gold. Friggin 24 karat GOLD. When not in the park she stayed right at heel and one thing I did train her to do completely on accident at first was to carry her own ball to and from the park. So you just see this red harnessed and red collared black lab looking dog walking at dead heel barely even glancing at other dogs, follows every command given down to crossing the street and walking alone next to me on the other sidewalk. I never off leash trained her. She just did it. REST IN SPAGHETTI NEVER FORGETTI MY LEXI!! Dead of a hemmoraged benign tumor in my arms right outside the vet clinic…best damn dog I ever had. ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ขโ˜ โ˜ ๐Ÿคง๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ˜‡

  14. Always off leash my dogs when we go into the woods and stuff. They might chase down a squirrel or two., but there is nothing they can really get hurt on and they never go far, because the squirrels go up and tree and then they give up. The only time i have ever had a bad experience off leash walking a dog was going into the woods with my current dog. Then up ahead a entire herd of deer crossed the trail in front of us and i just started running, because i knew my dog was going to chase the deer as hard as she could and i wanted to try to keep up with her. They all got out of sight while i sat there thinking "Well fuck, my dog is probably out there knocked out and hurt from getting bucked by a deer" then out of nowhere she comes out of the bushes all happy like nothing happened lmfao

  24. I let my dog off leash he's good now, comes back when I call him and follows directions, but when he was younger around 1 he used to just bolt off and not come back and would ignore commands. The only way I fixed this was consistent off leash training and positive reinforcement.

  25. I have my Jack Russell trained to stay by my side in any situation, beeping cars, bags, dead animals old and freshly killed, noisy truck, cars, cats ,aggressive dogs, horses, ponies angry people, horses galloping in a field, cows, sheep running chickens, birds, and all different sounds and she ignores all with no bother she is well trained It took a nice 2 years to train, and no I didn't kill any animals to sack my dog out because that is just horrible. There has been many cases where I've found animals and even in one case I seen a bird hit and I straight away picked up gently put him in a box with a blanket and brought him to a shelter. But I like to use animals that have actually been hit and are 100% passed on I will simply walk my dog by them and do various activities so I would NEVER injure a animal to sack my dog out.

  26. all i did to train my dog offlead is started in the garden threw a toy (had treats ready in my hand) as he turned to come back i would say his name so it would be "Val, come" or "come here" and would get to me i would reward him and he just learned to come when called so now he can be trusted offlead, there is plenty of different ways to teach recall but thats what worked with my dog

Also do you think it is required for a dog to have a yard if you bike your dog or exercise it daily (2 hrs) ? My family is thinking to get a GSD with a big kennel and insulated dog house and put it on our balcony, we will install one of those baby doors so he won't go downstairs. I plan to bike the dog for 20 minutes a day as i have heard it is enough for a dog. So would this be a good idea? Also my room would also be big enough for me and the dog

  35. I just about never put my dogs ON leash, however I happen own a large piece of property with endless tracks of temperate rain forest right outside my door, so I'm a little spoiled. This isn't to say my dogs are untrained; they are well behaved (for the most part) and always come when I call.

  37. I've recently started to watch your videos specially the dog park ones because you have a husky. And huskies are similar to akitas (which I own) except maybe they are more used to live in packs than akitas (which are more independent), but both are primitive and very dominant dogs… I took mine to dog parks since he was 3 months old and I regret it because I believe he was traumatised when unbalanced dogs charged him. Now he is not aggressive but reactive to other dogs. If the other dog is chill than mine won't do anything, but if the other dog is anxious or dominant he will put him in his place. But because mine is the one that usually "wins the fight" (never saw him actually hurting another dog) the owners hate us so I stopped going to the parks because I don't want to bother anyone :/
