  1. I love your videos so much that I give your videos a thumbs up before I even watch them! I am in training classes, but your videos really clean up the training of my dog. If I had seen your videos 1st, I might have postponed our formal training classes until after I had worked through all of your videos.

  3. @tab289 I have a 5 year old Westie who is used to the countryside and being let off the leash and running free. We have now moved to the city where we cant do that anymore. She is now refusing to walk on the leash and she will only go where she wants to go (which by the way is where the cats are), and she won't walk where I want to take her. I dont know what I can do about this. Please can you help.

  4. My puppy will fetch however he runs off with the toy. Also I watched you're video on how to get them to fetch but when getting him to hold the toy he takes off with it. Any tips would be greatly appreciated, I love all your videos they have helped me so much in as little as a week my pup has made quite an improvement.

  8. Hello, I've been watching your videos and trying to train my dog recently, but I don't understand what to do when she starts to get unruly. Towards the end of a training session, she will stop listening to me even if I change treats. Would it be worthwhile to have training sessions that are very short, but more frequent?

  9. Hi Tab, I got couple of questions.
    1) I would like know that if I'm giving food treats to my dog for doing things for me, then one day when I'm confident that the dog has learned that trick perfectly, and I start fading the treats and gradually stop giving him those treats for that trick, aren't there any chances that he'll be discouraged to do those trick for me or he would feel bad wondering what caused him not to be treated after doing the same trick he used to do?

    2) Can I mix along the treats for training one specific trick? What I mean is, suppose, if I'm giving food treats for a trick, can I play fetch as reward later on for the same trick as the dog start performing in a better way, in the same session? Or should I avoid this as this may confuse the dog?

  10. Hi Tab. I hope you still access these and are able to reply. How many times a day should I be training.  I am averaging about 3 time of about 5 to 10 minutes.  Is this okay or can I up it?

  12. I think those questions were really stupid! Who needs to ask them? If you don't have clicker, you say good dog or yes and you reward your dog with his/her favorite treats.

  23. Yep, totally agree! When I first got Lobo, I used dominance-based methods of training. Thankfully, I started watching Kikopup's videos, and have completely changed my thoughts. Lobo was about four or five when we started; he's six now! 😀

That is leash aggresion. He might
Be the friendliest dog off tje leash but when attached to tje leash, feels trapped and becomes aggresive. How to stop this, walk hi very often amd have neigbors that r willing to help walk far away as u walk but move
Closer as ur dog becomes better
