  3. Sick. Absolutely ridiculous. You people make me sick. You do not have to fucking shock a dog into submission to get him/her to listen to you, what would you do if your children did not listen? Put a shock collar on them? Turn it all the way up skip numbers to get the dog to submit? I used you fucking people for about 3 days, but my dog got MORE aggressive when he even saw your stupid collar to the point that I threw that shit away, and then I went to a positive reinforcement trainer who helped me get my abused and aggressive dog into a completely different dog and we did that with love, time, and positive reinforcement NOT shocking him into submission. i literally cannot stand you people.

  4. LISTEN UP EVERYONE WHO'S TRIED TO FILE A CLAIM WITH STATE FARM AND THEY REFUSED TO COOPERATE!!!It is very simple if they don't do exactly what you want when you file a claim, forget about hiring a lawyer. You can simply hire a public adjuster who will work for free on a contingency basis. And get you exactly what you want. AND…wait for it…Simply file a complaint form at the California department of insurance, which will cost you nothing!! CDI will quickly put State Farm in their place and make them pay for everything on the claim and it's free, the governments dept of ins has FAR more power than anybody else to enforce state farms pathetic cheapness to pay out especially if you have a claim for home damage (auto as well).State Farm does not want to have bad records (that stays on their record and effects their yearly review and lowers their AM rating AND IT ALSO GETS PUBLISHED IN THE STATES CONSUMER COMPLAINTS STUDY on their Dept. Public Website) with the State Dept. that's why they will pony up. http://www.insurance.ca.gov/01-consumers/101-help/Please share this info with family and friends. Also keep a copy of this for future use.

  5. This dog is totally stressed! Training with e collar is the last horrible technic of middle age. This problem of reaction is not cleared! The dog owner can`t read her dog, and the dog trainer will not read the body language.

  6. Poor dog was stressed and fearful…. This is not how you train a dog

  7. + Allen Burnsworth conditioning! The dog thought the shock collar was still on, oh he'll have to use it again.

  8. You could accomplish the same results without the Shock Collar. He was flooded, he was bound to react. Yet you keep saying the dog was never shocked, why the shock collar on then!? Don't use it. You are a huge company here in Fl. Many are turning away from these barbaric methods. Dog made progress already with you and no shock collar on. Yet you have other dogs crated near him to show how he is going to be reactive? Get the other dogs out for now, and start over with a happy dog, trust. That dog has fear, that's all. Dog set up for failure. Video made to sell shock collars.

  9. That dog is obviously uncomfortable and fearful and owner is sort of laughing about the dogs behavior. Shocking may suppress the reactive behavior but does not get to the reason of its fear..

  10. Is that standard Koehler Method at 2:00? You don't need a collar to teach using that method, right?

  11. First and foremost, you need to acknowledge about your dog's behavior and start treating your canine as the way he or she thinks if you'd like to transform your dog into your best mate.

  12. Dog Training Tips

There are a few real keys to dog training, whether you are trying to train your dog to come when called, sit, stop barking or any other behavior. Understanding their importance is critical to achieving rapid results that are long lasting and help develop the bond between you and your dog.

The first is simple; you must win your dogs mind. If you don’t achieve this first then you will be struggling the all the way. When I talk about winning your dogs mind what I really mean is that your dog looks to you for all the decisions. Before you do anything else watch one of the amazing video sites that show you the 5 Golden rules to establishing yourself as the pack leader. If you aren’t putting these in place then you are setting yourself up to fail. Just at the crucial point where you really want your dog to listen they will go and do their own thing. For sure your dog may play ball occasionally or even most of the time, you may even have a dog that is obedient 99% of the time, however if you want a dog who always listens to you and does as you ask then you need to win your dogs mind.

The second key to success is to motivate your dog. It is really important that you discover what it is that your dog enjoys both in terms of exercise and play but also in terms of a reward. If you can make the experience enjoyable then you will both achieve more and look forward to training.

Some dogs love to fetch, others love agility, and other dogs simply love obedience training, or swimming out into water and retrieve. At least to start with find out what your dogs love is and help them develop this, what I am saying is work with your dog. The other point to recognize is to make training enjoyable reward your dog.

    The three main rewards are:

Food- anything from a single dry biscuit to a whole piece of sausage!
Affection- pats, cuddles, lots of high verbal praise
Toys- games, throwing a stick or object, chasing your dog etc
Your dog is always going to work harder if you are fair in your training. Even if you do not want to use food you should make sure that you use affection accordingly when your dog does well

If you want to use food rewards then always follow these simple tips:

    Always vary food rewards
Do not give food rewards every time
Never let your dog know what the reward is
If your dog doesn’t come first time then do not give them the reward
The third key to achieving perfection is practice! Learning how to encourage behavior that is closer to what you want than the last is the third key to success. Again this is where rewards come in so handy! Motivate and then show your dog what it is that you want and there is no need for any negative training!

  13. Great demonstration of how to use a remote collar. The dog is never "shocked" but the handler quickly gains the dogs attention. The dog is happy and confident. We love the Sit Means Sit System and are happy to offer this service ins Sarasota Florida. http://sitmeanssit.com/dog-training-mu/sarasota-dog-training/

  14. Wow this trainer needs to go back to school and learn about real dog behaviour! Flooding and shocking a fearful dog won't change is emotional responses, it just shuts it down so it no longer reacts. Terribly sad that naive dog owners are taken in by it.
